Saskia Kirby

Saskia Kirby is a passionate leader in swim education and the co-founder of Kirby Swim, one of Western Australia’s premier swim schools. Alongside her husband, Olympic Gold Medallist Bill Kirby, she helped grow the business from a single location into a respected name in aquatic education. Saskia brings deep expertise in swim school operations, branding, and customer experience, and has contributed to industry conversations on strategy and growth.

Now serving as Chief of Customer for the Carlile, Aquatic Achievers, and Kirby Swim Group—spanning 30 locations, 1,500+ team members, and over 60,000 lessons per week—Saskia leads with both big-picture vision and grassroots understanding. Despite managing a multimillion-dollar marketing portfolio, she remains grounded in the realities of small business, having started Kirby Swim in 2001 with a limited budget, no marketing or finance experience and just two teachers in the pool!
